Thursday, December 17th, 2009Haven’t posted for a while because we’ve thankfully been busy for most of the year. Anyway, things have been going barmy in the office with all the Christmas adverting pretty much done now. Don’t forget that all your January advertising still needs to be done. If you know your deals and forthcoming events for January you will need to get them over to the Tag Design office by the end of this week. We’re shut from the 24th Dec thru to the 4th Jan .

Sunday, August 30th, 2009It’s been a funny old month, August, it always is in the nightclub game.. Most of the big promoters we work with have been to all their usual haunts like Ibiza, Ayia Napa, Malia etc, so business has been “up and down”.

Tag Design – flyer design checklist.
Thursday, July 30th, 2009When you’re designing with Tag Design or any agency it’s a good idea to have a flyer design checklist. So we’ve decided to put a bullet-proof list together that could save you time and money.
1. Make sure you know what style you want. Get some examples of flyers that you might have found on the internet or you have designed before and send them with your brief.
2. Draft out exactly what you want the flyer to be laid out like. For example, type out the text for the front of the flyer separately to the back information, with any important info, like the date in BOLD.
3. If you’ve designed with us before, don’t presume that “generic information” like, admission prices, door policy, address etc will be remembered by the designer. Make it idiot proof and put it in the brief.
4. Supply any images to be used as high resolution. It’s no good sending an image under 300K. Check the file properties.
So, hopefully now things should go like a dream….

If you know somebody or indeed yourself have design skill that could add to our design arsenal, then get in touch. We’re looking for someone who’s into the music business and has an eye for flyer design take a look at the site to see examples. There’s a job demo on the site in the “Join the Tag Team” section.
